Vehicle requirements

To join our platform, your vehicle must meet these standards:

• The vehicle should be registered for taxi use (luvanvarainen)
• Have a yellow taxi sign on the roof
• Have at least 4 seats (not including the driver)
• Have 4 doors
• Must be safe and well-maintained, inside and out.

Additional requirements apply to specific categories: 

Mint Lite

• Vehicle Year: 2005–2010 models.
• Branding: Mint Taxi stickers are mandatory on both sides of the vehicle.
• Commission: 12% for all vehicles in this class.
• Eligible for Pet Rides: Yes.

Mint

• Vehicle Year: 2010 or newer.
• Branding: Stickers are optional.
• Commission: 12% for vehicles with Mint Taxi stickers, 15% for vehicles without stickers.
• Eligible for Pet Rides: Yes.

Comfort

• Vehicle Year: 2016 or newer.
• Branding: Stickers are optional.
• Commission: 12% for vehicles with Mint Taxi stickers, 15% for vehicles without stickers.
• Eligible for Pet Rides: Yes.

Electric

• Vehicle Year: 2010 or newer
• Branding: Stickers are optional.
• Commission: 12% for vehicles with Mint Taxi stickers, 15% for vehicles without stickers.
• Eligible for Pet Rides: Yes.
• The car should be fully electric (Hybrid or plug-in hybrids are not accepted)

Luxury 

• Vehicle Year: 2019 or newer.
• Branding: Stickers are optional. 
• Commission: 12% for vehicles with Mint Taxi stickers, 15% for vehicles without stickers.
• Eligible for Pet Rides: Yes.

Large

• Vehicle Year: 2010 or newer.
• Branding: Stickers are optional.
• Commission: 12% for vehicles with Mint Taxi stickers, 15% for vehicles without stickers.
• Eligible for Pet Rides: Yes.
• At least 6 seats (excluding the driver)
